Scholarships
The International Boating and Water Safety Summit may be able to cover your registration cost to the 2013 Summit. Limited scholarship funds are made available through the National Safe Boating Council and the National Water Safety Congress. To apply for a scholarship, download and complete the Scholarship Application (PDF, Word) and return it by December 31, 2012. (If mailed, it must be postmarked by December 31, 2012. If faxed or emailed, it must be received by midnight (EST), December 31, 2012.)
Scholarships are available to individuals who are involved in boating or water safety programs and have limited resources to attend the Summit. Scholarships will be used for the Summit program only, March 24 - 27, 2012. There are no funds available for the pre- or post-summit training.
The Summit scholarship will only cover registration fees. Lodging and travel will be the responsibility of the participants and/or their agency or organization. Some meals are included in the registration fee.
Applications will be evaluated on program, need and benefit. Please be clear and concise with your answers.
